Yea I like the controlled lowend. Could knock off a little more to knock off some muddiness but the bass coming in sits as much as required and as it needs to be at 1:25. Personally I’d have difficulty mixing lowend on things like this too. That’s how I know how of an inconvenience it may feel. Or maybe you were trying to Make it warm. Hence balancing the pads. 🤷🏽‍♂️ Keep it up

I’ll revisit it in the daw I’m pretty sure it’s got the right balance and the correct sounds are audible, I like my slap bass to take the center stage, but I was honestly drunk when I made it and during the mixing process I diverged from my normal routine. Thanks for listening!

Tbh it took me a second to get the rhythm but the overall mix fundamentally is well. Rightfully deserved frontpage .
